From a childhood memory- a storybook called A Rice Merchant’s Story.

Brilliantly used Urushi lacquer in a rice-grain pattern to create the stunning Golden Mai. French Maki-e artists hand painted each of the pens, thus each is a singular work of art. The Golden Mai is a limited edition of 5 fountain pens, each embellished with a precious hand carved green jade clip and 18k Gold Nib.
